During the eighties, Mae Wertz worked for Academic Publications Office at Loma Linda University in California. There was a need for pictures of campus life to publish in the various college bulletins. There was also a need for landscape photos. The Director of Academic Publications provided Mae with this opportunity. Rodney Wertz bought an camera, darkroom equipments, and together they developed the pictures Mae took.
In 1987 Mae and Rodney took a month-long vacation and drove through Alaska. They took hundreds of slides that they shared at church programs and family gatherings. In 1992 Mae went to Lebanon. She took a various pictures of the devestation from the civil wars.
Now, Rodney and Mae are taking digital photographs, processing the raw files in Photoshop, and printing them on an Epson printer. Enjoy your visit and share with us your comments.
